Pay Rate: $50 - $55 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40+ hours per week
Contract Duration: 3–6 months
Stratosphere Quality is seeking a highly engaged and experienced Contract Quality Manager to serve onsite at one of our valued customer locations in Indianapolis. In this dynamic role, you’ll represent Stratosphere Quality as a trusted quality expert and leader, helping our client maintain the highest standards of manufacturing excellence.

As the Quality Manager, you will be at the center of our commitment to excellence. Your days will be filled with exciting, high-impact work such as:
Leading Quality Initiatives: Oversee and continuously improve the quality management system across all production facilities.
Driving Compliance: Ensure development, implementation, and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Solving Problems: Take the lead on root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative measures for all quality-related issues.
Establishing Excellence: Set and enforce quality assurance procedures, documentation, and standards.
Leveraging Technology: Work within our ERP system to monitor quality data and drive decisions.
Owning PAPP: Manage the Production Part Approval Process from start to finish, including documentation and submission.
Mentoring and Leading: Develop and grow the quality team—identify skill gaps, foster subject matter expertise, and lead by example.
We're looking for a driven, experienced quality professional with a passion for manufacturing excellence. Here's what you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in a quality management role within manufacturing.
Deep understanding of Quality Control, Assurance, ISO 9001, CMM, Control Plans, Flow Charts, PAPP documentation, and APQP.
Exceptional knowledge of quality control methodologies and compliance requirements.
Strong blueprint reading skills with hands-on experience in GD&T and measuring tools.
Analytical mindset with top-tier problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities—able to influence and inspire.
High attention to detail and a results-driven, energetic approach.
