Project Manager
Location: Chattanooga, TN (Regular travel to Nashville, TN and other worksites within a 2-hour radius)
Salary: $50,000 – $52,000 annually
Shift Requirements: Must be able to support multiple shifts
Travel: Travel stipend provided per company travel policy

Position Overview:

Stratosphere Quality is seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead operational and logistical management efforts across multiple worksites in the Chattanooga region. This leadership role is accountable for maintaining high-quality standards and optimizing team productivity across all assigned projects and locations. The ideal candidate has a solid background in the automotive or manufacturing industry, excels in managing customer and employee relationships, and thrives in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee the setup of new projects including layout, staffing, and material handling
• Establish and maintain strong communication with customer contacts
• Implement and monitor project-specific quality assurance processes
• Develop and execute new operational initiatives such as customer launches, location expansions, and service additions
• Review ongoing projects to ensure best practices are understood and effectively applied
• Monitor project profitability and labor efficiency
• Train and guide Project Supervisors on procedures, policies, and performance expectations
• Ensure all operational teams meet company standards and client requirements across assigned regions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in a QS/ISO-certified environment
• At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
• Proven ability to manage both customer and employee relations
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Available to work flexible hours, including support for multiple shifts
• Must be willing to travel regularly within a 2-hour radius of Chattanooga and to Nashville
