We are seeking a Quality Engineer (1099 Contractor) to lead the Quality Assurance Network Assessment initiative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance methodologies, process evaluation, and risk assessment. They will be responsible for evaluating and improving inspection activities throughout various stages of our processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and mitigate risks.

• Evaluate and assess inspection activities and steps throughout the production processes.
• Analyze upstream processes to identify inspection points for downstream processes and steps.
• Assess inspection activities across different stages such as chassis, trim, final assembly, engine, etc.
• Identify and document risk points where inspections are lacking or inadequate.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address identified risks and improve inspection processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Work with provided checklists or develop new checklists as needed to facilitate inspections and evaluations.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
• Experience with risk assessment and root cause analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
