Summary:

As a Kitting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and preparation of robot parts into kits, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards. You will also be responsible for the safe movement of robots between various workstations and storage areas, providing timely assistance to technicians, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.

Job Tittle: Kitting Specialist

Position Type: 3-month duration

Pay rate: $16 per hour

Job Functions:

• Assemble robot parts into kits according to detailed instructions and quality standards.
• Accurately select and organize components, ensuring completeness and correctness before distribution.
• Safely transport robots and related equipment between workstations, storage areas, and testing facilities.
• Handle robots with care to prevent damage and maintain cleanliness to uphold quality standards.
• Provide timely assistance to technicians by ensuring availability of necessary components and tools.
• Proactively identify needs and coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
• Participate in quality control procedures by inspecting parts for defects and verifying accuracy of kit contents.
• Adhere to prescribed assembly processes and maintain accurate records of inventory levels and assembly activities.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and procedures while handling robots and associated components.
• Utilize proper PPE and follow manual handling guidelines.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant experience preferred, (Will train right candidate).
• Proven experience as a Kitting Technician in a manufacturing or robotics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and move heavy objects safely.
• Proficient in basic computer skills for documentation purposes.
